U-Gears Mechanical Constructor Butterfly 171 Elements
Openwork Butterfly wings are made of cardboard. In the set with the constructor you will find two sets of wings: colored and light beige, which can be painted as you like. The lower wings change their angle in flight, making the automaton's movements more realistic.
The two front pairs of legs of the Butterfly move during the operation of the mechanism, while the rear pair is used as levers for starting and blocking the rubber motor.
In addition to the main element, the Butterfly itself, the model also includes a platform stand made in the form of a flower. Above the flower, the butterfly is supported by a shock-absorbing strut, which springs it in flight.
With this combination of wing movement and springy stance, the butterfly's flight looks very natural: it flutters and dances over the flower, intending to collect nectar.
